Hero.

A man stands upon the world as nobody,

whilst he never knows that he is the world of somebody,

And a man runs as a no one through his days to tomorrow,

but he never realizes those eyes seeing him as a hero.

You know why?

Those who walked out of the school era with flying colours,

Often, mostly will end up in medical school.

A prestigious, glorious, glamorous field of study among those who excel.

One of the top choices.

Now and then,

we, medical student often complain,

"medicine is tough~"

then we say,

"pening la~ tak faham~ malas la study~zzzz"

and so we tell our juniors,

"nak ambil medic? adik kena prepare physical, mental & spiritual. sebab medic ni susah!"

And then the whines keep on going,

We get exhausted.

Feeling so down.

Thinking of giving up.

Starts questioning & blaming,

Why medicine is so damn hard?

Yes, medicine is HARD.

You know why?

لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ فِىٓ أَحۡسَنِ تَقۡوِيمٍ۬

We have certainly created man in the best of stature.

(At-Tin : 4)

Because you're studying Allah's BEST creation.

Now thank Allah for choosing you to dive into one of His greatest miracle.

Worn Out

A bright day,
yet you see it gloom.
The embracing warmth,
but you feel it froze.

You walk the day within shadow,
Trying hard to carve a smile,
But every attempt seems to be so hard,
everything is frozen.

You make excuses,
Mental block,
And so,
Your mind claims for an unwell body,
but the body blame over the exhausted soul.
And so both have shattered apart,
but no one realize,
it is the Iman that exhausts.

Dark

We stroll down our path,

and often we are devoured by the darkness.

We are so lost within,

Some are engulfed forever,

Whilst some have found the light,

Escaping this dark hole of life.

Yet,

even we're freed from those shades,

These bright days ahead doesn't always shines,

Somehow, overcast,

by the shadows of our darkest side of life.

Because we once lived in our darkest days.

ٱللَّهُ وَلِىُّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ يُخۡرِجُهُم مِّنَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ‌ۖ

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ أَوۡلِيَآؤُهُمُ ٱلطَّـٰغُوتُ يُخۡرِجُونَهُم مِّنَ ٱلنُّورِ إِلَى ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ‌ۗ

أُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكَ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ‌ۖ هُمۡ فِيہَا خَـٰلِدُونَ

Allah is the ally of those who believe.

He brings them out from darknesses into the light.

And those who disbelieve - their allies are Taghut.

They take them out of the light into darknesses.

Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.

(Al-Baqarah : 257)

Seven days without Allah

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغۡ قُلُوبَنَا بَعۡدَ إِذۡ هَدَيۡتَنَا وَهَبۡ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحۡمَةً‌ۚ

إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلۡوَهَّابُ

Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy.

Indeed, You are the Bestower.

Stolen

This possession of me,

So precious that it is stolen,

Perhaps accidentally taken,

yet I wish it will be kept forever,

because it is meant to be yours.

Lease

One day,

I will stand alone in the midst of this ageing world,

carrying none with me,

Having this frail hands hold to nothingness,

No longer shouldering those golds gallantly,

Those words that enlighten shall loss their shines.

Nor even a pair of magical legs that fly me to the sky.

Despair, definitely I will be.

But I shall let it be,

Don't mind it.

Because those were never meant to be mine.

Even every seconds of standing here up till now,

Is nothing more than just a lease.

Yes,

Everything is borrowed.

I possess nothing.

Winter.

Every blow of wind pierces deep into this bone.

And every single pain stings out of this bone

will be the memories of every single swing made.

And every words written on yellow, shall warm me and never fade.

Keeping me strong,

Always.

Master

The moment you wield a sword master's blade

doesn't make you the master of sword dance.

While you call yourself a knight in the middle of crowd,

but you never know how to sheathe your blade,

you gain nothing but vain.

but you can't even master the basic equipments.

Value.

One day

that I would just sit around,

lowering my head,

as if I would only be here,

forever.

Yet one day,

eventually I shall rise up,

And stand again looking forth,

As I will walk ahead,

Carrying my pride.

Glory

Upon you're showered with the star of fame,

surrounded with shines of glory,

should you never gaze up upon the sky,

seeking for those glimpse dust of the night,

while you turn blind upon what lies beneath,

no longer hearing the echoes,

of the tail of zephyr,

which breeze you along your steps,

to fly up of where you've spread your elegant wings.

Should you forget your origin,

And you shall never even grasp those stars,

of what you've dreamed.

"And do not turn your cheek [in contempt] toward people and do not walk through the earth exultantly. Indeed, Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful."

[Surah Luqman : 18]

Mistake

If you fear of mistakes,

upon strolling down your path,

of the journey towards your covetous dream,

then,

the path you've walked on means nothing.

nothingness.

Learn from your fear & mistakes.

Your path shall be enlightened.

Banyak

Banyak udang banyak garam,

banyak orang banyak ragam.

tapi bila terlebih garam jadi masin,

bila masin orang kata angau nak kahwin.

Ngeh.

Udang rich in proteins. Proteins will stimulate stomach juice secretion & emptying. Preparing for the incoming meal. That's why udang is sometime served as appetizer.

Reasoning

Some reasons appear to be very 'pricey'.

One could only pay the price with something of the same value.

Time & Patience.

So then, we'll just have to wait.

Actions do speak louder.

Even much louder,

Time is Gold.

Nope,

It's life.

Time is Life.

We value time,

leading to invention of watch.

Yes,

now that we could check on our time,

anywhere,

anytime.

Even gadgets are made with built-in digital clock nowadays.

You name it.

Yet,

sometimes,

the analogue clocks are very much more convenient,

than all those digital in-gadget clocks.

Why?

Because they have the second hand.

A doctor without any watch?

Fail.

How can I measure the patients' pulse?

Relying on mobile phone stopwatch?
